Belfair Bridge Website Objectives
Welcome to the new Belfair Bridge web site. The intent of this site to provide a way to inform all Belfair members about all things related to Belfair Bridge. There are various games available...some for women only and others for men only. But there are mixed games as well. Belfair Bridge is becoming another great amenity with well over 100+ players. We hope this site will keep you informed and interested in all things Bridge at Belfair. Please send your suggestions or comments on how to make this site more informative to Tony Schlegel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bridge Games & Lessons
Belfair is a great place to play golf, tennis, bike or do any of the many other opportunities for physical exercise. Let's not forget the ole noggin though and exercise it as well with games like Bridge! The good news is that there are lots of ways to take advantage of this fun and mentally stimulating game in Belfair especially now that we have the Old Tabby room where men and women have access. If you click on the Calendar tab to the left of Home screen on this site, you'll see a schedule of all of the bridge games and lessons. Here is summary.
Duplicate Bridge for Women
Duplicate bridge is played every Monday in the Clubhouse from 12:15 to 4:00 PM. Sign up in the Women’s locker room or contact Meg Canfield at 843-757-1326 or email@example.com.
Social Bridge for Women
Played every Thursday from 1-4 PM in the Clubhouse. Newcomers are always welcome. Sign up in the Women’s locker room or contact Karen White at 843-757-8370 or email Karen at firstname.lastname@example.org or Paulette Kirk at 843-757-3991 at email: email@example.com

Mixed Games and Lessons for Men and Women Together
Mixed Duplicate Sanctioned Games
ACBL Sanctioned Duplicate Bridge is played on each Tuesday of the month at 6:30 in the Old Tabby room. Master points are awarded and the cost is $3 per person. Contact Ted or Betty Cooley at 843-757-8597 or Tony Schlegel at 843-815-3011 (email@example.com). As this game grows, we will likely create two sections of A level players and B level players. If you don't care about master points, that's OK. Just come and enjoy the game.
These games are conducted in a very casual manner to allow those who would like to practice their skills in bidding, declarer play and defense. All are welcome to come but these games are primarily targeted to the students who have completed the Beginner Bridge series. Mentors are usually available to answer questions during the game and those wishing to assist as a mentor are always appreciated. These games are held on most Thursdays in the Old Tabby Room from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Contact Tony Schlegel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mixed Beginner Lessons - "Learn to Play Bridge Workshop"
An eight-part series of beginner bridge classes for men and women based on ACBL’s recommended lesson plan and are usually conducted twice a year. The next series will likely start in the fall. These lessons are usually conducted on Thursdays at 4:00 PM in the Old Tabby Room. No prior knowledge of bridge is necessary to attend these classes. Contact Tony Schlegel at 843-815-3011 or email@example.com. We will be using the book “Bidding in the 21st Century”. We look forward to anyone who would like to join us. We also have table mentors to assist as needed.
All of the dates above are subject to change based on holidays, when a month has five game or lesson days, availability of the game/lesson coordinator or possible clubhouse conflicts with room scheduling.
A special thanks to Jenn Paciotti and Jennifer Burns for their help and cooperation with scheduling rooms and more.
