Beauchief Bridge Club - About the Club

Welcome to Beauchief Bridge Club, we are a Yorkshire and EBU affiliated club, conveniently located for bridge players from Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield, and surrounding areas.

We run two duplicate bridge evenings open to members and visitors on most Mondays and Thursdays throughout the year starting at 7:15 p.m.

We play at the recently refurbished Park Hotel [formerly the Moat House], accessed by the Sheffield Outer Ring Road that links to major roads serving the South Yorkshire and Derbyshire area.

We operate our club with a strong ethos of playing and encouraging friendly bridge with zero tolerance for aggressive or abusive behaviour at the table or within the club.

As well as our duplicate events we also run a series of club competitions, bridge 'away days', and support newcomers and those returning to bridge with a teaching session every Thursday.

Pairs in the Park II

Sunday 12 October sees our Premier Club Pairs event for the Jepson Trophy.

The event takes place at our 'home' at the Park Hotel, with refreshment on arrival at 10:15 a.m., followed by start of play at 10:30.

There is a mid-event break for a substantial meal [to view the menu - hover mouse of this article and click to open], and usual club facilities available at the Park Hotel.
