I thank all of you who made this a very special first day of the Beach Cities Sectional Tournament.  We had a 34 table game this morning and another 28 in the afternoon.   Only one other non-life master tournament had a larger Friday morning Sectional game in the 2015.  Those wishing to see their results, please visit www.agilebridgeclub.com, click the results tab and then "Click here for game results". 

At 9am tomorrow, Joan Johnson starts us off.  Yehdit Hasin reviews the Saturday morning hands at 1:40pm.  Here is to Gerri Carlson and Marjie Michelon who gave our tournament such a boost today!

Important Limitations

Space at the tournament is limited to 40 tables. Consequently, people who are NOT a member of the AGILE BRIDGE CLUB and interested in playing at the BEACH CITY Tournament are strongly advised to contact Jan Drayer ( info@beachcitiessectional.com) with their intended participation and their possible need for a partner. AGILE BRIDGE CLUB members are advised to pre-register during selected regular BRIDGE CLUB events. 

New bridge players (< 5 MP) interested in the FREE game on Friday afternoon must obtain their ACBL member number to qualify or pay $18 per person to play.

Players are flying in from as far away as upstate New York. 

The Saturday games may sell out.  We have capacity for forty tables.  This includes the neighboring Rotary Club House.  To guarantee reservations and lunches we will begin listing entrants prior to the Tuesday Game on November 3, 2015.
