Reading Bridge Club All contract bridge players who want to improve their skills are welcome to the "Learn & Play" Contract Bridge class on Mondays. It is held at 7.10 pm in Reading Bridge Club, 35 Jesse Terrace, Reading Berks, RG1 7RS, (answer phone: 0118 957 3077) and lasts until around 10.00 pm. . The standard is deliberately mixed. The price is £3.50 per session (£2.50 for club members) and £1 for students; payable on the night. The price includes tuition, a practice session with an occasional small prize for the winning pair, and tea or coffee.

Yateley & Hawley BC have an Improvers section every Wednesday for those wishing to either refresh after a lay-off or those moving on from Beginners classes. Tuition is provided both from EBUTA accredited players and supervised sessions. In addition, they will learn how to use wireless scoring (BridgeScorer units normally in use) and generally become familiar with normal duplicate play but in a gentle acclimatising atmosphere.
