This event is particularly aimed at players in the county who have limited experience of competitive bridge. Entry is open to non-EBU members and to EBU members with up to 10,000 master points.

Conventions are played at Level 2 of the EBU “Orange Book” which covers popular systems that less experienced players will find familiar, such as: Acol and Precision, Stayman and Transfers over No Trumps, weak twos, Blackwood and Gerber.

The leading pairs will qualify to play in the Bedfordshire Champions Trophy as set out in the information about that event.

The Marsh Trophy was presented by Janet and Derek Marsh.
