Beginners Classes
Beginners classes are held at Bath Bridge Club premises in Monkton Combe on Monday evenings. 

Improvers Classes
Improvers classes are held on Wednesday afternoons at Queen Square.

Here are our Brunswick Twinning Bridge Farewell Party team winners.  Pictured are: Rita James, Michael Seiffert, Christian and Joelle Ohlmer sporting their hard earned bridge medals.  The evening was very jolly and we would like to thank everyone who helped make this visit such a success.  A reciprocal visit to Brunswick is being planned for May 2017.  More photos are in the Photographs page.

On Monday 11th April we started scoring with Bridgetabs.  Here are some of our happy Bridgetabs users about to press the 'Rankings' button!.
New Master Point Rule

From 1st January 2016, Master Points will only be awarded for pairs events in which all the competitors are scheduled to play at least 70% of the boards used in the movement.  As an example, when the intention is to play 22 boards in a session, no more than 30 boards should be in play.

Our club, Bridge & Games - Bath, has raised a total of £220 towards the Macmillan 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' fundraiser.  Many thanks to Judith Thomas for making all the lovely cakes and thank you to everyone who contributed so generously.

Here is the beautiful painting which was presented to the Bath Bridge players from our Brunswick visitors.  The artist is Ulrike Gornemann (who is also a very good bridge player).  The Brunswick visitors have invited us to visit them next year; tentative dates are 25th to 29th May 2017.  If you would like to be included on the list, please contact Judy Spencer or Christine MacFarlane.
