The annual competition prizes for Bath BC are below, along with the current holders.
Please note that players will not be considered for Social Duplicate prizes if they are eligible for the equivalent Tuesday/Thursday prize. Averages are taken over the calendar year.
In the event of any dispute, the committee's decision will be final.

| Phil Cooke Memorial Trophy |
This trophy is awarded for a one-off Thursday morning pairs event.

| Fred Newell Cup - Best Overall Performer |
 This trophy is awarded to the player with the best overall average on Tue/Thu evening sessions for that year with a minimum of 20 sessions. It includes all events played on those days (including any Butler and teams events played by converting the imps score to a percentage).

| The Arthur Jost Plate - Best Social Duplicate Performer |
The Arthur Jost Plate is awarded to the player with the best average score on Social Duplicate (Wednesday evening and Tuesday morning) sessions for that year.

| Swan Trophy - Mixed Pairs |
This trophy is awarded to the winners of the Mixed Pairs event held once a year on a Tue/Thu evening.

| Pepys Trophy - cross-imps pairs winners |
The Pepys trophy is awarded to the winner of a Butler Pairs event held once a year on a Tue/Thu evening.
Butler pairs are pairs events with teams scoring, so it is more important to bid games and concentrate on making/defeating the contract than to risk the contract for overtricks.

| Malcolm Aveyard Cup - Pair ranked below Tournament Master |
This is awarded to the winner of a Ranked Pairs event held on a Wednesday evening in that year. It is restricted to players below the rank of Tournament Master (10 green points).

| Best 20 - Tue/Thu |
The Best 20 prize is awarded to the player with the best 20 scores on Tue/Thu evening in that year. The winner of the Fred Newell Cup is not eligible for this trophy.

| Best 20 - Social Duplicate |
The Best 20 Social Duplicate prize is awarded to the player with 20 best scores on Social Duplicate (Wednesday evening and Tuesday morning) sessions. The winner of the Arthur Jost Plate is not eligible for this trophy.

| Chairman's Trophy - Teams event |
This is awarded to the winners of a Teams event held on a Tue/Thu evening in that year.

| Most Improved Player Prize |
This is awarded to the player with the most improved average score in the Best Overall Performer competition. It is awarded to the player with the highest increase in average score between this and the previous year whose average in the previous year was less than 50%. All players meeting the qualifying criteria for each of the two years are eligible.

This is awarded to the player with the most improved average score in the Best Social Duplicate Performer competition.
