♣♦♥♠ Welcome to Barnsley Bridge Club ♣♦♥♠ The club meets every Wednesday at the Shaw Lane sports centre in Barnsley; home of Barnsley Cricket Club and Rugby Club. New members are always welcome, and we pride ourselves on being very 'beginner friendly', we therefore expect members and guests to be tolerant of the less experienced players so that it can be an enjoyable experience for all concerned. The club operates a system whereby we aim to play 24 boards in the evening, starting at 19.00pm, thus allowing us to finish around 22.00pm.
We have 10 people attending the Beginner training course, which commenced on Monday 2 November 2009. If you are interested joining the next course please contact the club, via email at barnsleybridgeclub@yahoo.co.uk, stating 'Bridge Lessons' in the subject heading.
Visitors are always welcome except that Barnsley Bridge Club operates 'Members Only' for Simultaneous Pairs events.
