BALLYROAN BRIDGE CLUB
Rules for Major Competitions. Updated 14 May 2013
To enter a major club competition a player must have paid both their club and TCCBC membership subscriptions for the current year.
The practice of members entering major competitions without playing with some degree of regularity on ordinary club nights is viewed by the committee and many club members as an unwelcome practice and contrary to the spirit and ethos of the club.
To counter this practice, the committee will:
(1) Monitor member attendances throughout the year
(2) Will not allow a member who is habitually engaged in such practice to enter a major competition.
Colaiste Eanna Trophy
A member must have played a minimum of 6 ordinary club nights in the preceding bridge year ( From the 1st September to the end of May). New members are eligible to play.

The President’s Prize;
A member must have played on a minimum total of 6 ordinary club nights from the 1st June.
