Aylsham & District Bridge Club welcomed players from all over the County to its annual Open Pairs event.  This year was really well attended with 17 tables participating.

Many thanks go to Tournament Director Gabriel Ip for directing the proceedings.

A big thank-you also to Dennis Ellis, who organised setting up all the equipment, Ann Melville, who kindly loaned the Club additional tables, and to the ACT Centre Management for coping with such a large influx of people during the refreshment break!

The winners of the various Club Competitions were presented with their trophies at the Annual General Meeting, Friday, 9th May 2014.

A special mention and congratulations to the following, who did extremely well in their event:

Christine Sadd and her partner (Wendy Gee) finished 3rd in the Webster Trophy (Ladies' Pairs)

Chris Cunnington and his partner (James Tullett) finished 5th in the Baker Trophy (Mens' Pairs)

Graeme Johnston and Cheryl Plunkett finished joint 5th in the Haylock Trophy (Mixed Pairs)

Peter Bowman and David Smith, together with their team mates (Pat Whittle and Robert Harber) won the President's Cup for being the best placed "Non-Expert" team in the Neville Hill Cup (Swiss Teams)
