This convention card shows what students should be expected to know after their first year of lessons with Aylesbury Vale Bridge. It includes Strong 'Acol' 2-level openings, Natural weak take-outs in response to 1NT openings, and no artificial defensive methods.
When we hold special 'Open Evenings' for new students and visitors, this is what we would expect all our members to use.

This convention card includes some slightly more advanced conventions, including transfers over 1NT openings. These systems are acceptable on all normal club nights (i.e. other than special 'open nights' for beginners and other visitors).
