Welcome to Avonside Bridge Club's eNoticeBoard. Avonside is located in the elegant Georgian city of Bath. We meet on Tuesday and Friday evenings for DUPLICATE BRIDGE in a friendly, but competitive atmosphere. We hold our Bridge sessions at Southdown Community Centre, The Hollow, Bath, BA2 1NJ. Parking facilities are on site or on the quiet, well lit road at the front of the building (The Hollow). All rooms are easily accessible, being on the ground floor.
All facilities and easy access for the disabled are available. Our bridge evenings start at 7.15 promptly (please arrive by 7.05pm). Tea, coffee and soft drinks are included in the Table Money of £3 (members), £4 (visitors). The Annual Subscription is £20. Avonside is affiliated to the ENGLISH BRIDGE UNION (EBU).

In order to avoid the issues that have occurred this week in Dealing the Boards, please always check the White Board on the wall opposite the Kitchen doorway for availability of rooms. The bookings for the following week are usually displayed on a Friday evening.

| Group Photo of Members at October Weekend 2016 Bridge Event |
This is a photograph of 23 of the group of 24 who spent a weekend in October at the Walton Park Hotel in Clevedon. Guess who is missing! We played 3 sessions of 'pairs' duplicate bridge and a final session of teams. There were prizes for the winners and everybody enjoyed the splendid food and some even enjoyed a drink or two as well. The weather was pretty good so during our free time we were able to make the most of Clevedon and the surrounding attractions. The whole event was brilliantly organised by the club President to whom we all owe a debt of gratitude. More photos available under the menu item 'October Weekend 2016'
