40th Anniversary Celebrations, Friday 26th April.
The first session of Bridge at Avonside was on Friday, 27th April, 1984 so next Friday will be our main celebration. Please come along and join us for a Buffet lunch any time from 12 noon onwards. This will be followed by our usual session of Bridge but expect some surprises. Please bring a plate of finger food with you which can be sweet or savoury as you wish. There will be a short talk on the history of the Club. No table money will be collected on this Friday. Hope to see you there.

Welcome to Avonside Bridge Club's eNoticeBoard. Avonside is located in the elegant Georgian city of Bath. We meet on Friday afternoons for DUPLICATE BRIDGE in a friendly, but competitive atmosphere. We hold our Bridge sessions at Southdown Methodist Church Centre, The Hollow, Bath, BA2 1NJ. Parking facilities are on site or on the road at the front of the building (The Hollow). All rooms are easily accessible, being on the ground floor.
All facilities and easy access for the disabled are available. Our bridge afternoons start at 2pm promptly (please arrive by 1.50pm). Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in the Table Money of £4 (members), £5 (visitors). The Annual Subscription is £15. Avonside is affiliated to the ENGLISH BRIDGE UNION (EBU).
