The club is open for Face to Face sessions every Monday, but we are closed on Easter Monday 1st April

The club, which meets in the Mary Smithells Room at the Community Centre in Chalfont St Peter, has pairs events each Monday.  Visitors are welcome and your first visit is free. If you would like to come but need a partner please phone Dory Thompson on 01494 433841. The table money is £3.00  per session for members and £5.00  for visitors.

The hands are pre-dealt and hand copies are provided, showing makeable contracts. The results are normally available at the Club at the end of play and on this site soon after.

To ensure we are able to start play not later than 7.30 pm players are asked to be seated by 7.20 pm. If you are delayed please phone 07805 201265 or 07749 719548 before 7.20 pm to ensure to be included. Any pair arriving after 7.20 pm without having phoned will be included only if the director is able to do so without disturbing the movement.

Our team, captained by David Hamilton, has made a good start in Division 2 winning all our first 3 matches by 15-5 in VPs. Alas this was followed by 4 defeats - we then won our last two matches against top teams and finished just below 50% overall - the odd feature was that we did well against strong teams but lost to the two bottom teams!

It is with great sadness that we annouce the death of our long-term member, Secretary and leading light of our LO8 A team, Tony Hawthorn, who passed away peacefully on 25th July. Amanda and their two sons were with him and our thoughts and best wishes go out to them. The funeral service is in the East Chapel, Breakspear Crematorium, Breakspear Road, Ruislip HA4 7SJ at 11.30am on Tuesday 8th August.

We are very sorry to announce the death of Molly Summerfield, a long-term member of the club who along with her late husband Ron played at Austenwood for many years.
