Congratulations to the 30 players from our club who were successful in earning their colour points.
May is Membership Month
We are a member owned club and our annual membership fee will remain unchanged at $20. These fees are directed towards our annual insurance ($1,000 per year) and capital improvements (e.g. our new game computer).
Our Membership Chair: Janice Colangelo, and her team will begin TAP membership renewal and sales at our games during the week of May 18th.
Thank you for being an Aurora Bridge Club member and building our community of like-minded people encouraging fun, friendship and connection while sharing our passion for this great game of bridge.
 Farewell to Lynn and Preben Schmidt as they make the move to Orillia.
We are sorry to say goodbye to Lynn and Preben Schmidt, cherished members of the Aurora Bridge Club community for many years. They first played with us at the old Aurora Library and later followed the club to the Legion in Newmarket. Lynn, always the fashion diva, served on the executive and was a familiar face at the tables several times a week. Preben, the diligent lawyer with the shy smile, joined her on Tuesday nights and always had a gentle word that made everyone feel welcome.
We thank them both for their camaraderie, their kindness and the warmth they brought to our club.
Tuesday nights will not be the same without them. While we will miss seeing them at the bridge table, we are grateful for the memories, the friendship and the friendly competition shared over the years. They will always remain an important part of our club family and we hope they will return for an occasional visit.
As they begin this new chapter in Orillia, we know the Orillia Bridge Club will welcome them with open arms. Our loss is truly their gain. May every contract be makeable as they continue their bridge journey. Please keep playing, keep laughing and keep in touch.
 Our club is a scent free environment. Please be considerate of your fellow players who may suffer from allergies.

| THE COMMON GAME |
The Aurora Bridge Club is part of a large group of bridge clubs in North America offering the same bridge hands at the same time to all players at these clubs. This means:
- Our players' results will be compared with results from over 1000 clubs in North America playing pre-dealt hands from the Common Game
- Players who have their email addresses registered with ACBL will receive results
- Hand analyses by various pros are provided
- Personal Play Analytics - players will have access to personal play analytics on their personal page which includes declarer play vs dummy play statistics
