We advise strongly the following code of behaviour in our club,for you to enjoy your game more.

1.Do not discuss the previous hand if another hand is still to be played.Delay post mortems until the end of the round.

2.It is in extremely poor taste to abuse or criticise your partner or an opponent.

3.Never try to teach anyone at the bridge table unless asked.

4.Never let a harsh word pass your lips.

5.Should partner bid or play a hand like a donkey,say either nothing or preferably "bad luck" and leave it at that.Do not harp on past errors.

6.Fumbling or hesitating with the intention of deceiving  is cheating.Don´t do it.

7.You must not try to mislead your opponents by your manner or by not revealing a full description of a systemic bid when asked.e.g. if you play Lucas two bids it is insufficient to describe it as 5 of a major and 4 of a minor.You must add that it is less than 12 points.

8.If you are uncertain about the correct procedure always call the tournament director immediately.Do not let other players tell you what are the correct laws.They are wrong more often than they are right.

9.Nobody should object to the Tournament Director being called.It is not a slight,an insult or a rebuff to your opponents.
