What Bridge at Arrow does

Bridge at Arrow provides bridge teaching and training for all standards of player - from complete beginner through to experienced players. The sessions are completely flexible and are tailor-made to suit the needs of the group.

Sessions range from half-day through to full-day and can be run at your local bridge club if required. Regular sessions are also run at the Bridge at Arrow premises in Alcester, Warwickshire.

Teaching topics for recent events include:
The Losing trick Count, Part-score competitive bidding, Planning the Defence, Planning the play, Use of the negative double, Slam bidding, The opening lead, The take-out double, Bidding over weak 2's, Pre-emptive bidding, Avoidance and Elimination, Trial Bids & cue bids.

All sessions involve a topic discussion followed by supervised play of set hands.

Teaching/Training events have recently been run at : * West Midlands Bridge Club * Droitwich Bridge Club * Ridgeway Bridge Club * Evesham Bridge Club * Stratford Bridge Club * Bridge at Arrow  

A series of events is planned to run at bridge clubs throughout Worcestershire, at West Midlands Bridge Club and also at Stratford Bridge Club. We also have plans to arrange bridge teaching holidays in the French Pyrennees.
