This is the home page for the Ampthill Bridge Club in Bedfordshire and provides information on all aspects of the club, including results for previous weeks and details of forthcoming events. We play each Wednesday at the Community Centre, Houghton Close, Oliver Street, Ampthill.

Round 2 of the Club Pairs Championship will be played on the 17th February. To be eligible to win the Championship you must play two of the three rounds with the same partner. If you play in all three rounds, your best two scores will count.

Round 3 will be held on 17th March.

If you are a visitor, or cannot play in two rounds, come along anyway and take part. It is a normal pairs event.

The Club is offering a course of lessons for bridge players already familiar with the game who want to inprove their standard. The course of weekly sessions will start on 10th February 2010. We will gently introduce you to the etiquette and technique required to play duplicate bridge. Naturally we hope that this will lead you to playing regularly at the Club. The cost for the course is £3 a session. Tuition is by Brian Keable, a long serving County player and teacher.
