After discussion, the Club approved a committee proposal to remain affiliated to the EBU and to participate in the Pay2Play scheme.

| Opportunities for Beginners and Improvers |
On the first Wednesday of every month we hold an evening for beginners and improvers to come along and try Club duplicate bridge for themselves. There is no requirement to come with a partner as one will always be found for you that evening, although we would appreciate a call to the 'partner finding' number, shown below, to advise us that you are coming. The cost for the evening will be our normal visitor's fee of £3, which includes tea or coffee.
We are also offering courses of 10 weekly lessons. Although the first of these courses began early in March, further courses will follow later in the year. Tuition is by Brian Keable, a long serving County player and teacher.
If you have any queries, if you think you would like to come, or if you just aren't sure and need some gentle persuasion, call the Club Secretary, Mike Field, on 01525 633029. We look forward to seeing you!
