Members provide their NAMES and CONTACT DETAILS (Address, email and Telephone Number/s) to the Membership Secretary on joining the Club. They inform the same person of any changes that occur or any deletions they require of all or part of the details.  The Club maintain this personal data, and only this limited data, for the efficient administration of the Club. The data is retained just for so long as it is required for this purpose. 

There is a significant difference between the treatment of NAMES on the one hand and CONTACT DETAILS on the other. NAMES will appear under numerous headings both in electronic form on our Website open to the public and in printed form on our Notice Board at the Club.  Thus, NAMES will appear in bridge results, Steward lists, Rotas, News and Information Pages, Attendance Lists etc.  NAMES is the only data sent to outside bodies such as Scorebridge (Internet based scoring system) and venues for bookings. 

On the other hand, CONTACT DETAILS are not available to the general public or outside bodies. Name, Email and Telephone Numbers (Not Addresses) are restricted to the Members Only section of the website that is password protected and administered by the Website Administrator. The Membership Secretary provides and maintains a copy, including Addresses, for the Committee and Almoner only for such times it may be necessary to contact members by Telephone, Post or Email. Through the Members Only section, members are able to access Names and Contact Details of all active members. 

Allingham Bridge Club prides itself on the many social activities which take place in addition to bridge evenings.
 
These include:

• Skittles evenings.
• Summer and Xmas (funny hats/jumpers to be worn!) socials held on bridge evenings.
• Bridge Weekends organised 1/2 times a year in the UK and have taken place in Worthing, Wells, Midhurst, Brighton, Canterbury, Banbury, Norwich, Arundel, Wallingford, Salisbury, Eastbourne, Bournemouth, Chichester and Warwick.
• A week's winter bridge holiday organised annually with past holidays having taken place in:
