ALLESTREE BRIDGE CLUB MEMBERS ONLY INTERNAL COMPETITIONS

THE CLUB HAS 5 INTERNAL COMPETITIONS

THE PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP

This is played on two consecutiveThursday evenings - 10 pairs qualify from the first round and they then play in the final the following Thursday evening.

THE FRIDAY PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP

This is played on a Friday afternoon once a year in October.

THE SUNDAY PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP

This is played on a Sunday evening once a year in October.

THE TEAM OF FOUR CHAMPIONSHIP

This is played on a Thursday Evening once a year in September.

THE MIKE SMITH TROPHY

This is played for throughout the year based on results at the Thursday night pairs duplicate. It is awarded to the player whose average percentage, calculated over a callendar year, excedes his or her allocated playing percentage by the highest margin. The allocated playing percentages have been calculated from the playing results over the last 5 years.  

   
EXTERNAL COMPETITIONS
The Club participates in SIMS events run by the EBU and ECATS. Details of all such events are listed on the NEWS Page.
