| Teams of 4 Championship 2011 |
Unfortunately a board in the championship had been switch at some stage of the Teams of 4 Championship. This has resulted in having to withdraw board 3 from the results.
Fortunately this did not affect the first three places and so the championship can be finalised. |

| Members notable achievement |
Wildlife Volunteer has tea with PM Did any of you catch the Derby Evening Telegraph on the 17th August. I missed it but one of members saw it and mentioned it to me. Sue Jones is the volunteer in question and of course Sue Jones is our Thursday Afternoon Bridge TD and organiser. She had the pleasure of representing Derbyshire Wildlife Trust in Derbyshire in view of the work she done in helping to raise some £10,000 for the trust. Well done Sue. |

| CAR PARKING |
CHANGE OF ARRANGEMENTS PLEASE NOTE WE PAY FOR PERMISSION TO PARK AT THE REAR OF THE EVERGREEN CENTRE FOR THURSDAY EVENINGS. THE INTRODUCTION OF A JUNIOR DANCING/GYMNASTICS CLASS WHICH FINISHES AT 6.30 PM MEANS THAT THERE ARE A NUMBER OF CARS IN OUR AREA PICKING UP CHILDREN JUST WHEN WE WANT TO PARK. A PROBLEM COULD ARRISE IF YOU PARK BEHIND THESE CARS BECAUSE AFTER THEY HAVE PICKED UP THEIR CHILDREN THEY DRIVE OFF AND THE DANCING CLASS WHICH STARTS AT 7.00 PM PARK IN THE SPACES THEY HAVE LEFT AND BLOCK YOUR CAR IN. MAKE SURE YOU ARE EITHER BEHIND ONE OF OUR MEMBER'S CARS OR ON THE FRONT ROW OF THE CARS EVEN IF THIS MEANS WAITING A FEW MINUTES UNTIL THE CARS PICKING UP CHILDREN DRIVE OFF CONTRARY TO MY PREVIOUS NOTE IT APPEARS WE HAVE GENERAL PERMISSION TO PARK THERE ON FRIDAY AFTERNOONS PROVIDE WITH DO IT WITH DISCRETION AT THE REAR OF THE HALL ALTHOUGH WE HAVE NO COMPLAINTS IN THE PAST ON FRIDAY AFTERNOONS THE RECENT INTRODUCTION OF TWO ART CLASSES AT THE EVERGREEN OVER THE LUNCH TIME AND EARLY AFTERNOON PERIOD MEAN THAT PARKING IS CONJESTED AND WE RECOMMEND THAT OUR MEMBERS ONLY PARK THERE IF THEY ARE SURE THEY DO NOT BLOCK ART CLASS ATTENDEES CARS IN. DO NOT PARK IN THE RED COW CAR PARK. THE LANDLORD IS THREATENING TO CLAMP YOUR CAR. WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO PARK IN THE RED COW CAR PARK. |
