DEREK POVAH |
Sadly Derek passed away on 26th July 2021. Click- A review of Derek Povah's life by his brother Gordon Povah
He was awarded the Dimmie Fleming Award for 2011 and was presented with his certificate on 6th September 2011 at Spondon. These awards are made annually by the EBU for services to Bridge, and this award to Derek was as a result of Derek's activity in the field of Bridge over many years without thought of personal reward and in particular establishing our Allestree Bridge Club in 1990.
