For the pair gaining the highest percentage score on any duplicate pairs night.

Monday Points Cups From Sept 08 to June 09
For men and for women separately, awarded to the individuals scoring the most Competition Points on normal Monday duplicate nights. Points are obtained by scoring over 50% (ie 64% = 14 points). Fractions of % are now included. Only the best 20 results are eligible.

Thursday Points Cups From Sept 08 to June 09
As per the Monday Points Cups, but for results of the normal Thursday duplicate nights.

O'Driscoll Cup From Sept 08 to June 09
Awarded to the pair with the best six percentage scores from duplicate sessions played monthly on the first Thursday.

Teams of Four Cup and Plate From Sept 08 to June 09
For the team scoring the most Victory Points from a teams event held on the third Monday of each month. (Note: No other bridge is played on these Mondays). Halfway through the year the field will be split into two sections, according to the current position. The leading 6 teams will play for the Cup and the remaining teams for the Plate.  Members only may play.  In the event of a tie the team that beat the other will receive the cup.  If this does not apply a coin will be tossed. 

Random Teams Mon 29 Sept, Mon 27 Nov, Mon 23 March, Thurs 28 May
Teams of four players will play a Swiss competition of 4 six-board matches in an evening or multiple teams. Players enter as pairs, and pairs are randomly teamed up for the night. No duplicate bridge will be available on these nights. Prizes are awarded to the winning team of the first three above mentioned nights, and a cup will be presented to the winners of the last event.

Individual Cup Thursday 23 October/ Thursday 30 October                                                 The top 6 pairs from the Thursday duplicate session on 23 October will qualify for a 12 player individual final on Thursday 30 October. If any of the top pairs are unavailable for the final, the next best pair(s) will qualify. A normal Thursday duplicate session will also be run for other players on 30 October.

Mixed Pairs Cup Monday 27 April 09
Awarded to the leading mixed pair of the evening.

Christmas Cup Thursday 11 December 08
For the winner in the competition held on the night of the Christmas Party.

Men's and Women's Pairs Cups Thursday 26 February 09
Awarded to the leading Men’s Pair and Women’s Pair played in separate duplicate sections on the one evening.  In the event of a tie the pair that beat the other will receive the cup.  If this does not apply a coin will be tossed..

Secretary's Plate Monday 29 June 09
For the leading pair of members on the night, neither of whom has won another competition during the year.

Rubber Bridge Cup July - June
For the individual gaining the highest total of 6 scores from games played on the first Tuesday of each month.

Ladder Competition

This will be trialled this year, initially for 6 months.  Separate notice on club noticeboard re rules.
