Members' Charity Congress...

Congratulations to Brian Spears, Roger Stevens, Edith Jeffrey & Barrie Salmon (+37)
on winning the Bugden Bowl Congress Teams

and to Sue Spears, David Gilbert, Hilary Broadhurst & Joan Mason (+27)
winners of the Adur Valley Teams Tray

Proceeds are for the St Peter & St James Hospice
and the total net monies raised was £955

We anticipate an additional £500 matched
donation from the Santander Foundation

Total funds raised for the hospice will be £1455

Our thanks go to all of our members for taking part, buying raffle tickets
and donating the 70 bottles of wine and more for the raffle.

Our thanks also to Santander for its donation and to
Waitrose for their support with a substantial discount on
the ingredients for the ploughmans' lunches

This will be matched by the Santander Foundation so
the total donation to the Hospice will be

raising the overall total to £1750

All profits raised are for the benefit of St Peter & St James Hospice
in fond memory of Beryl Pitman.

A very big thank you to all who took part in the congress both players and donators of bottles for the raffle. The amount raised for St Peter & St Paul Hospice on the day was £500 - a record for this event so far - thank again to all who contributed. The final sum, including a donation from Henfield DBS was £612. This amount has been matched by a donation from the Santander Foundation making the total raised for the Hospice £1224.
