It has been a while since Announcing was introduced (2006 - doesn't time fly) and this is therefore the first change in 7 years.

Many players are still confused about when or whether to Announce or Alert and the principles remain the same.

There are points of clarification & some important changes.
(Especially the need to alert some bids over 3NT)
