Instructor:  Barbara Rosenthal

Course Description:  It is generally accepted that defense is the most difficult part of bridge.  This course takes a look at defending against notrump contracts with a focus on the opening lead and how it impacts the subsequent defense.  We will start with the old maxim "fourth highest from longest and strongest," but then move quickly into the exceptions to this rule.  We will also spend time examining which is the correct card to lead from various holdings and why it is the correct card.  This course is a must-have for the advancing player.
