Stasia Hagan RIP |
Sadly another of our former members, Stasia Hagan, has passed away. Stasia died peacefully on 16th March in the Aisling Nursing Home where she has lived for the past few years We will all remember Stasia as a wonderful bridge player who didn't use any complicated systems and was a regular winner. Condolences from Abbey Bridge Club members to Stasia's family. May she rest in peace.

Micheal Gleeson RIP |
Our very good friend and bridge colleague, Michael Gleeson, passed away on 22nd December. Michael died peacefully in Wicklow Hospice surrounded by his loving family. For many years MIchael generously shared his bridge expertise with new recruits to the game of bridge and continued to play and win right up to a few weeks before his death. He will be sadly missed by all his friends in the bridge world. Condolences from the members of Abbey Bridge Club to Annette, Dara, Brian, his grandchildren and all the family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

AGM |
Cathal Louth was elected president for the 2023/2024 bridge season at the AGM held in April. We all wish Cathal well and hope he enjoys his year as president.
