We have used Shark Bridge for up to 3 years to teach players how to play Bridge. We are using Shark Bridge in different ways and Shark Bridge has regular updates and improvements. We would like to improve the way we use Shark Bridge by providing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training.

We would also like to provide CPD training to new teachers.

We are providing a Demo (1 hour) of Shark Bridge to County Bridge Association officials, Club officials and Teachers. This hopefully will generate additional interest for Teachers to Learn more.

We would like to follow the Demo with a new Teacher Training sessions, with the following provisional dates, (since dates will be determined with delegates) each session typically 2 hours:

8 Jul Mon 7pm SBTC Fundamental Skills

15 Jul Mon 7pm SBTC Practical Skills (with delegates as “class”)

22 Jul Mon 7pm SBTC Advanced Skills

 

There will be additional practical training during a 2 hour lesson with a briefing beforehand and feedback afterwards.

Up to now the majority of training has been other teachers observing existing teachers and providing feedback at Supervised Play sessions and Lessons. This is still a powerful part of CPD.
