Taster Sessions
If you attend the first lesson and for any reason during the first lesson, you decide that you do not wish to continue with the course, your deposit is refunded in full. A guaranteed FREE taster session!
All courses start in late September and last for six weeks. Free club membership is included in the price for Novice and Beginner. All six week courses cost £95. All courses are in accordance with the English Bridge Union’s “Bridge for All”. Every course has an associated supervised playing session where you can practice
Special Benefits
You will be provided with a copy of the EBU Beginning Bridge book, which will guide you for the first year, which costs £25. There are fun quizzes and exercises to do, which reinforce the learning. You will have free membership of the EBU and receive its student magazine.
CHOOSE YOUR COURSES
Novices
Starting from absolute scratch and assuming no knowledge, Novice provides the ideal introduction to Bridge. After this course you will want to learn more.
Beginners
Beginner is very practical, extending and consolidating the basic principles covered in Novices. It is also suitable for those who have played some Bridge.
Beginner Play
Beginner play covers the important aspects of playing the game.
Intermediate 1
Intermediate 1 covers the exciting competitive aspects of the game when all players are involved in the bidding.
Intermediate 2
What do you do when you have very strong hands? The excitement of winning all the tricks.
WEEKENDS
If you wish to do an intensive course, we teach the Novice, Beginners, and Intermediate courses in a weekend, 10.00 – 17.00. If you wish to make a country weekend of it and stay in a nearby hotel please let us know and we can give you recommendations of local hotels.
