Andrew Robson Bridge Day
Andrew Robson Bridge Day

Places are limited. First come first served.

There may be places left for the Andrew Robson Charity Bridge day on Monday February 4th 2019 but it is now open to guests and other clubs so please let Heather know as soon as possible if you want to add your name.

Andrew Robson is an international bridge player, runs a London bridge club, has written numerous bridge books and is the bridge columnist for The Times as well as running various charity events and master classes around the country.

He is a wonderful teacher and his previous visits to the club have been highly successful, extremely popular and inspirational.

His engaging and interactive style of teaching is enjoyable, involves everyone and ensures that players of all levels benefit.

He will spend the day focussing on three topics

- Bidding Bad hands - when a bad hand can become very useful, and how to recognise that

- Listening to the Bidding to find some clever well reasoned opening leads in defence

- Fourth suit forcing - one of the most useful conventions in the uncontested auction, and often misunderstood.

All profits will be donated to the HIOW Air Ambulance and Histio UK.

The day will start at 10 am and finish around 5pm.

The cost for members is £45 and non-members £55 which includes a buffet lunch of cold meats and salads plus tea/coffee during the breaks.

Drinks before the seminar, during lunch or at the end of the day may be purchased from the bar.

Some of Andrew Robson's bridge books will also be available for sale.
