Having entered a competition, it is expected that competitors will attend or let the organisers know in good time that they need to withdraw. Failure to do this has a negative impact for other players.

We have a policy of not refunding players who fail to turn up without warning, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Alerting Regulations in online events

i. Thursday pairs league / teams, county Pairs semi & Final – self alerting, no screens

ii. Blue Pointed Swiss Pairs online – self alerting, no screens

iii. Wessex League, Div 1 Self alerting & screens. Divn 2 self alerting, no screens. 

iv. Handicap Pairs, Chester Cup and Mixed Pairs - alerting as at table
